Who I am

Built from personal experience.

Allen, the owner of Hands of Stone, lives with a congenital heart condition. Born with a condition that required surgery as an infant, he grew up often perceived as fragile.

Determined to prove that his circumstances did not define him, he developed a deep passion for health and fitness. That passion led him to become a certified massage therapist and personal trainer, dedicated to helping others feel stronger, more capable, and better supported in their bodies.

Hands of Stone Wellness & Performance provides wellness services for both mind and body, specializing in medical and sports massage therapy in Aurora, Colorado.

Our approach is pinpoint accurate and practical: specialized techniques tailored for muscle recovery, tension relief, pain management, and enhancing athletic performance. We work with people who are in need of pain management, postural distortions, dysfunctional movement patterns, and anyone who wants to feel more capable in their body.

The current approach

Integrated care for the way you move.

Hands of Stone brings integrated movement, soft-tissue function, and nutrition together. The work is specialized for people dealing with pain, dysfunction, limitations, recovery, or performance goals—not a basic spa massage, generic workout, or generic meal plan.

Hands-on function

Massage that meets the tissue.

Massage is performed without lotion or oils, using direct, focused contact to address the problems behind what you feel.

  • Trigger Point Therapy
  • Myofascial Release
  • Pin and Stretch
  • On-table mobility and stretching

Restore capacity

Corrective exercise and mobility.

Movement training is selected to restore function, stability, and healthy tissue—improving activation, joint mechanics, strength, control, and the movement patterns that keep you capable.

Food as information

Nutrition education you can use.

We cover foods and their nutrients, calories, macros, digestive and bowel concerns, and the glycemic index so you can make choices that support health, recovery, body composition, or performance.

Informed support

Education before supplementation.

Peptides and over-the-counter supplements are discussed from an evidence-informed perspective only after confirming that a client is healthy enough to use them. Unsupervised use can carry real risks, so guidance starts with health, appropriateness, and informed decision-making.
